In this essay, please critique the role of the educator with regards to the implementation of critical thinking, reasoning and argument skills in the learning environment. Please also identify the arguments that support the use if these methods within education settings.

Consider the following questions to support your work: 

  • What is meant by critical thinking, reasoning and argument skills? 
  • What is the role of the educator in successful use of these methods in education? 
  • When implemented correctly, how can critical thinking, reasoning and argument skills support learning? 

In this assignment you will need to refer to the module materials and wider reading, and reflect on your own experiences.

Plan your time!
