Completed project file name: [your initials] Excel 7-10.xlsx
Create and save workbook named [your initials] Excel 7-10 in your OneDrive folder. Modify your workbook according to the following guidelines:
- In cells A3:E3, type the labels ID, Department Code, Course Number, Course Name, and Grade. Name the sheet Grades.
- Insert a new sheet and enter data for the “Department Code” column. Use indicators such as BUS, MTH, or COM for six departments, occupying six rows in a column. Name the sheet Data.
- On the Data sheet in another column, enter data for course grades. Use A through F or other letter or number assignments. Enter at least five grade possibilities.
- In a third column on this sheet, type a list with four semester identifiers: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.
- On the Grades sheet, create validation criteria in rows 4:20 for the “Department Code” and “Grade” columns using the lists on the Data sheet.
- Insert a combo box control in columns H:I. Format the control to use the semester names on Data sheet and link the control to a cell under the control.
- Decide how to display individual IDs that follow a pattern. Enter data for two IDs, select department codes, key a course number and name, and choose a grade. Select a semester.
- Type a main label in cell A1 to indicate the purpose of the worksheet.
- Format cells with borders, fill, alignment, and more, up to and including row 20.
- Share the workbook with your team member or your secondary email address.
- Open the workbook in Excel for the web, enter two additional records. Notice that the form control is visible but not functional in Excel for the web.
- Close Excel for the web and return to [your initials] Excel 7-10.
- Save a copy of the workbook to your local folder.
