1. Reflect on a disaster that you have heard about in your lifetime. What type of disaster was it? How did you react when it happened?

• What was the community impact

3. What observations do you make about the number of people killed in these disasters and why do you think this is? Write 100 words in your Learning Journal.
4. Create a table with 10 Australian disasters between 2000 and 2016.

List them by name and classification. Add this to your Learning Journal.

Read the case scenario on vUWS and write 200 words in your Learning Journal about the groups most vulnerable in this setting and how they were managed during the bushfire.
