Although a hallmark of the doctoral-level psychologist, constructing comprehensive psychological reports is one of the areas of professional practice that requires lifelong learning commitment to understanding evolving measures in use and standard of practice for assessment in settings, as well as legal, ethical, and cultural heuristics to understand a patient’s functioning. Psychological assessment report writing is a challenging task even for doctoral-level professionals who have been in practice for many years.
Discuss some of the potential development and strength areas you foresee you will need to grow as a licensed psychologist who specializes in psychological assessments in writing comprehensive psychological reports.
In at least 2 postings (in addition to your initial posting), compare, contrast, and extend discussion with your peers about how writing comprehensive psychological reports is at times perceived as a formidable task. Consider discussing models, heuristics, and research associated with effective psychological report writing.
Discussion Requirements
